In case of a draw during the group stage, winner shall be decided through super over. How does the Asia Cup Points Table in 2023 work?

The Asia Cup points table 2023 shows current Asia Cup teams standings with updated team rankings for all 6 teams in Group A and B and the Super-4 Stage. Two teams from each group with most number of win and points from each group are considered qualified for the Super-4 stage.

A total of six teams including India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Afghanistan will battle it out for top four positions on the point table during this year Asia Cup. An overview of what happens to the points table during group stage and what happens after is given in depth below:

Group stage

*** If points are equal, the team with the most wins will be placed in the higher position.
*** If there are teams with equal points and equal wins, the team with the higher net run rate will be placed in the higher position.
*** If still equal, then the team with the higher number of wickets taken per fair balls bowled in the matches played in which results were achieved will be placed in the higher position.
*** If still equal then the team position will be determined by drawing lots.
